Busy Bee Ecological Designs

The foundation to my livelihood and practice: this small-scale practice looks to serve folks interested in revitalizing their landscapes through the addition of extensive native plantings. Rain gardens, shade gardens, and rock gardens exist in this practice’s specialty.

Marshy Garden

Small scale restoration project located at The Soil Factory in Ithaca, NY. The project focuses on employing alternative restorative ecology techniques and artistic interventions to form a biodiverse and community-oriented garden.

Grow Wild! Native Plant Nursery

Located in Brooktondale, NY, Grow Wild Native Plant Nursery has been an extension of my work with Busy Bee Ecological Designs. At the nursery we grow native perennials via locally-collected seed for private residencies as well as large scale restoration efforts.

Understory Magazine

A small print magazine created in sharing visual and written art on relationship to land and place.

Tompkins Pollinator Pathway

Serving as the Native Plant Specialist and Communication Outreach Lead in the recently founded Tompkins Pollinator Pathway – a local branch of the national organization looking to create connected pollinator corridors.
